IMPACT (profenofos 40% + Cypermethrin 4% E.C.)
Description: A widely used, broad-spectrum agricultural insecticide. Combining an organophosphate (profenofos) and a synthetic pyrethroid (cypermethrin), it delivers dual-action contact and stomach toxicity to quickly knock down chewing and sucking pests.
Key Benefits:
Active Ingredients: 40% Profenofos and 4% Cypermethrin in an Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC) formulation. Mechanism: Profenofos acts as an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor that disrupts insect nervous systems. Cypermethrin prolongs sodium channel openings
causing hyperexcitation and rapid knockdown. Target Pests: Controls bollworms
caterpillars
aphids
thrips
whiteflies
and mites. Special Features: Offers translaminar action (penetrates leaf tissue to reach hidden pests) and ovicidal properties that destroy pest eggs.
